OK, so this alcove is actually 7' wide. The Thermador dual-fuel range and other appliances were supplied by our friends (and neighbors) at S. K. Lavery. The back splash is a solid 3 cm slab of white quartzite. The cabinets flanking the range contain highly functional pull outs that hold all the utensils, knives, bottles, etc. that you might need while cooking up one fabulous meal after another.
