With a limited budget, the wall behind a range without a backsplash panel received a full height granite backsplash made with stone lengths cut from an inadequately sized piece of the original slab. The stone strips were sized and spaced to line up with adjacent cabinet edges and have 3/8" reveals between and along all edges.
