all of the wood you can see in this picture was the original oak flooring 400yrs old which we had planed down in our workshop and we used it as features around the raised areas and boxing of pipes also in the shower area we oiled it sealed it for water protection please read other comments on the other pictures to learn more about this listed building renovation thanks
