AE's Dual Patios, Walkways and Stone Wall w/ Aviary Garden

Eclectic Patio, New York

Using the curve of the large patio to soften the 90 degree angle of the end of the house, as well as balance it it with the depth of the satellite patio next to it. Polymerized sand has been added between the stones to keep weeds from growing beteen them in large numbers, as well as help move water away from the foundation, and onto the lawn. Notice how little room there is between each stone in comparison to many or most patios with natural shaped Bluestone. They sell sand that is used for 2-4 inch grouting. Our average space is around one inch. Thats the difference in time spent to do something to the best of one's ability, as opposed to "getting the stone down as fast as you can."
