Back door planting beds

Traditional Garden, Philadelphia

An assortment of daylilies, miniature conifers such as Bird's Nest Spruce, Winter Gem Korean Boxwood, Sarcocca (sweet box) and perennial Creeping Thyme, Christmas Ferns, and Stargazer Daylilies greet you at the back door. The tree to the right is a Star Magnolia. In the foreground are two 19th century Galloway pots. Planting bed is edged in a curve of Belgian block.
