These homeowners have been living in their house for a few years and wanted to add some life to their space. Their main goal was to create a modern feel for their kitchen and bathroom. They had a wall between the kitchen and living room that made both rooms feel small and confined. We removed the wall creating a lot more space in the house and the bathroom is something the homeowners loved to brag about because of how well it turned out!

The bath features calacatta gold marble on the floors, walls, and tops. The decorative marble inlay on the floor and decorative tile design behind mirrors are aesthetically pleasing. Each vanity is adorned with lighted mirrors and the added tile backsplash.

My client wanted to keep a tub, but I had no room for a standard tub, so we gave him a Japanese style tub which he LOVES. I get a lot of questions on this bathroom so here are some more details... Designed by Dave Wilhide of Reico Kitchen & Bath in Woodbridge, VA in collaboration with Professional Home Improvements, this bathroom remodel features a transitional style inspired bathroom design. The bathroom cabinets are Merillat Classic in the Glenrock door style in a Cotton finish. The bathroom vanity top is a MSI Carrera Lumos quartz countertop. The bathroom also includes Meram Blanc Carrara tile for the shower floor, baseboard and tub wall tile; Seta shower wall tile; and Home Choice Ash floor tile. “I am not one to like change. So when we decided to completely remodel our bathroom, it was a challenge,” said the client. “There are just so many options and it is easy to become overwhelmed. That is why we chose Reico to help. This master bathroom was designed to create a spa-like feel. We used a soft natural color palette in combination with a bright white used on the clawfoot tub, wainscotting, vanity, and countertop. Topped with oil-rubbed bronze fixtures and hardware.

The original Master Bathroom was quite large and had two separate entry ways in. It just didn't make sense so the homeowners decided to divide the old MB into two separate bathrooms; one full and one 3/4.

Using a deep soaking tub and very organic materials gives this Master bathroom re- model a very luxurious yet casual feel.
