Beautiful updates to dated spaces. We updated the master bathrooms and 2 guest bathrooms with beautiful custom vanities with recessed fronts. The beautiful gray finish works wonderfully with the Carrara marble and white subway tile. We created recessed soap niches in the guest bathrooms and a deluxe recessed niche with shelves in the master bathroom. The lovely gray and white palate gives a fresh calming feeling to these spaces. Now the client has the bathrooms of their dreams.

The existing shower footprint was slightly enlarged and surrounded by a frameless glass enclosure. The marble wall tile continued behind the new freestanding tub and wrapped around to the vanity, creating a seamless look throughout the bathroom. A double niche in the shower provides ample storage space for toiletries and the rain shower and separate hand-held shower head create a truly relaxing shower experience. A crystal chandelier hangs elegantly above the large soaking tub, which is the centerpiece of this sophisticated master bath. Bathed in Diana Royale marble, it’s the perfect spa-like retreat. Tub, sinks and plaster walls, all in biscuit, add to the bright, ethereal glow. The traditional cabinetry painted ivory has been distressed and glazed to evoke Old World charm. Adding a touch of opulence is the countertop, which is adorned with a doubly thick ogee edge. Contrasting the warm neutral tones is polished nickel, which is the metal of choice for sconces, plumbing and hardware. Traditional paintings of birds flank the window behind the tub and a built-in bench is topped with an overstuffed matelassé seat cushion, creating the perfect nook to take in the mid-afternoon sun.

This powder room is gilded with glamor. The rich tones of the walnut wood vanity come forth midst the cool hues of the marble countertops and backdrops. Keeping the walls light, the ornate framed mirror pops within the space. We brought this mirror into the place from another room within the home to balance the window alongside it. The star of this powder room is the repurposed golden swan faucet extending from the marble countertop. We places a facet patterned glass vessel to create a transparent complement adjacent to the gold swan faucet.
