Bespoke Fused Glass Kitchen Splashback in Lymmington, Hampshire

Midcentury Kitchen, Manchester

The Dalaman design splashback pictured below worked perfectly with this setting, and we think it continues to demonstrate just how versatile our fused glass art can be in awkward spaces. The background colour was influenced by the warm wood tones in the kitchen furniture and the beams in the ceiling. There are hints of teal and autumn red in the main strips, which feature in the curtain fabric. The other colours in the strips are; creams, russets, dark browns and ochres, as well as gold highlights. The result is a statement piece which makes an interesting backdrop to the grand cream and black AGA cooker. We were thrilled to be able to create a glass art piece for this beautifully finished period kitchen. The clients told us how they felt the splashback had always been there, which was a huge compliment! Photography by Paul Howson.
