Canyon Corner
Transitional Kitchen, Portland
This large and dramatic kitchen unconfined from the walls that once separated the front and back of the home, now unrelentingly dominates the main floor. Highlighted by the natural light from both directions, the dark cabinetry and island counter top stand out beautifully against the new oak floors and white trim. With the help of a very large beam pocketed into the ceiling joist, the homeowners can now enjoy the backyard view from all areas and utilize their main floor for guest entertainment.
