This stunning Complete kitchen was designed in collaboration with a world-class chef for his own home! The floating Blackwood timber breakfast bar and timber accents help tie the kitchen design to the family area and existing furnishings, and warm up the white finish. The tricky issue of getting power from the back bench to island bench and the missing floor tiles was remedied by manufacturing and laying matching floorboards to the area. Though the kitchen went basically back in the original footprint, more storage and bench space was created through clever redesign to maximize the functionality. A large pantry with a sliding door that can be left open during peak prep times and a large prep area provided the required workspace but with minimal travel. A further prep area was created between the sink and hotplate as well. All overhead cabinets had Blum Aventos electric doors, again so they can be left open when major chefing is happening. The choice of Dekton benchtops just finished this stunning design beautifully, tying in with the existing dark flooring tile.
