Classic Carlsbad Kitchen

Transitional Kitchen, San Diego

A clean palette of soft grey painted cabinets on the perimeter and a smoky wood stain on the island instantly updated the standard oak builder cabinets that had previously been there. A shaker door with an angled interior edge added a modern touch, a detail reflected in the crown molding, light rail, and furniture base board moldings. Even the white glass subway tile featured an angled along the interior edges, capped by a satin nickel Schluter trim molding around the window. White polished countertops with a touch of glass sparkle under the LED under-cabinet lights.
