The under cabinet refrigerator was removed in final revisions and replace with a large drawer base. We chose to install a full granite backsplash opposed to the tile in the rest of the kitchen to give this area it's own identity. The countertop extends into the family room to easily serve guests. The custom built bamboo parquet table is easily moved against a wall for for an additional serving area for large gatherings. We even made them some matching cutting boards from the table top remnants.
