Concrete and timber aren't necessarily thought of as finishes that sit well together but this project proves just how beautiful these contrasting materials can be. The imitation concrete finish on the cabinetry and the wooden chopping block on one end of the island create a stunning aesthetic that emphasises the raw beauty of both materials.
