Kitchen Side Extension, New Bathroom and Roof NR3 4SF

Contemporary Kitchen

The client had purchased a 'walk in' terrace with problems at the rear ground floor. Humidity levels were high because the bathroom had been built without a damp proof course. The diy timber frame conservatory and its DIY plumbing added to this 'wetnest'. Finally, the solid masonry walls insured the 'cold bridge factor turned vapour into droplets. The Bathroom roof was a metal sheet. Therefore, a kitchen Side Extension with new cavity walls replaced the conservatory. It's roof, with the largest rooflights possible and the aluminium door with made to fit pitch toplight, have brought in as much light as possible. The rear of this terrace house is north facing. The clients are very happy with the transformation.
