Transitional Kitchen, Portland

As you enter the foyer of this demure home, you immediately catch a glimpse of the breathtaking gourmet kitchen featuring one of the largest islands we have ever designed (over 10′ long)! The square footage of the kitchen is now a full 50% larger, achieved by bumping out the front exterior a full 12′ and removing the wall between the dining and kitchen. The emphasis on family is apparent with kid-friendly counter seating for up to 5 people at the ready to share in cooking and conversation. An abundance of storage is another important feature of the room that more than meets the family of five’s needs. An extra dishwasher and 14-bottle wine refrigerator also make this kitchen fully prepped for easy entertaining.
