The cabinet style was to remain simple and almost "Shaker", but with a small bead around the flat panel of the door. The client did not want much graining in the wood, so maple was choosen with a darker stain to give it an aged effect. Upper and lower book/display shelves were placed at the end so the client could display her collection of cookbooks and ceramics that she collects. Vintage style school light pendants provide for visual appeal as well as much need illumination to the room.
