This is an example of a large transitional u-shaped eat-in kitchen in DC Metro with an undermount sink, shaker cabinets, medium wood cabinets, granite benchtops, multi-coloured splashback, mosaic tile splashback, stainless steel appliances, medium hardwood floors and with island.

Maryland Open Light Filled Kitchen

Transitional Kitchen, DC Metro

This view emphasizes the tight, built in usefulness of this wall. The counter depth refrigerator looks nearly built in without the expense of a fully built in refrigerator. I find the microwave is best placed nest to the refrigerator as what goes in it typically is coming out of the fridge. Photos by Brian J. McGarry
