My clients wanted to see their children playing while working in the kitchen. There was a wall dividing the living-dining room and the kitchen. By demolishing the wall, I created a "great room" and an open-kitchen layout with a one level great island. This is the view from the kitchen towards to living-dining area. Photography: Gerald Connell
