A study in contrasts. A drab 1950s dark wood kitchen was gutted and a support wall removed to make way for this open concept, modern two tone kitchen. Natural quartzite counters are durable but elegant. White wood cabinets are contrasted with a dark stained oak cabinets. Barn beams from 1850 and an antique European grain sack add a rustic contrast to the modern feel.
