Our client's big request focused on transforming an un-functional kitchen and kitchy fireplace into a modern rustic great room. To do this, we eliminated the existing island, flip-flopped the peninsula orientation, reinvented the breakfast nook, and created a balance of warm tones, rich textures, and clean lines.
