White worktop area in a Scandinavian style, minimal plywood kitchen. There is a matt white, square tiled splashback with grey grouting surrounded by custom-made plywood kitchen cabinets. Set into the work surface is a square stainless steel single sink with modern stainless steel mixer tap, and an induction hob. Sitting on the hob is a copper pan of boiling water and two eggs ready to be cooked. The plywood cabinets have no handles. The mood is utilitarian and simple. Photo © Dan Hazeldean
