Big & Beautiful: Spacious Bathroom Inspiration New York can be tough on space — even a second toothbrush might require rearranging the furniture. But a few lucky folks out there get wide open bathrooms to scrub-a-dub-dub. And note — some of these bathrooms aren’t technically huge spaces. But you can make your space feel bigger by sticking with light colors and keeping the clutter down. Another great trick for opening up the room is floor to ceiling glass in the shower instead of a bulky tub. Comments (2) that first to die for bathroom is gi-norm-ous! bigger than my living room! All you need is someone to sit there and give you a mint and towel when you are done. ha! it is too beautiful for words! posted by tinycottage on March 23rd 2010 at 2:23pm view tinycottage's profile whoa I just saw the one with the antlers! that one is the coolest space! Mural-Tastic Kid Friendly Living Room In this large, open floor plan apartment, mom and wife Tanie wanted a kid-friendly space for little ones to call their own. Tanie provides child care in her home and really needed a space that was as fun as it was functional. Check out all the details after the jump! With normal wall murals, our first thought it always, "That's cool, but what about 10 years from now?" The personalized sections of this mural, are all done on canvases that can later be removed, exchanged or added to. This makes for an easy format that is later adjusted to fit the family's tastes and design choices. You can see more about this space and Tanie's adventures over at Unicorn Parade ! There's so many great diy aspects to this site, we just can't do them all justice! (Image: Unicorn Parade ) Comments (0) Post a comment Our privacy policy has recently changed. Dining Room Gallery: French Country Style Grange, France Lately, we've been drawn to French country interiors —the simplicity of materials and forms seems to dovetail nicely with the back-to-basics, modern rustic look that's popular right now. We really like this style in the dining room, anchored by a big farm table and wooden chairs. Since 1904, French company Grange has been making furniture like this—traditional extra-long dining tables and chairs inspired by Provincial homes and restaurants. They sell to-the-trade only, but it's really the overall feel of their interiors that we're most interested in, rather than specific product lines. Things we love about this look: patterned tile floors, huge tables made for big dinner parties, X-back cafe chairs, and wildflower centerpieces displayed in glass jars or bottles. For more information from Grange, visit their online catalog . Please include more variety like this!!! posted by AriannaKarlisse on January 22nd 2010 at 10:25am view AriannaKarlisse's profile Mostly lovely, though a bit bland. And the rugs in pictures #1 and #9 are too small. posted by rustypatina on January 22nd 2010 at 11:34am view rustypatina's profile Post a comment Our privacy policy has recently changed.
