We eliminated the soffits and designed full height cabinets with a crown molding. The scale & proportion of the cabinets transformed this small kitchen into a gracious, pleasant and inviting space. The walls were painted the same color as the cabinets. Wrapping the rich gray color around the room was a gamble that payed off. It not only opened up the room, it softened it. Not an easy thing to do with a kitchen.
