The narrow bathroom needed an upgrade. The sink used to be on the left wall, we relocated it to the back wall and opened up the middle of the room. We added vertical boards and top and bottom rails over the drywall to create the look of wainscoting. Painted white the wainscoating brightens the space. The old floor was replaced with 12x24 ceramic tiles so there is less pattern with fewer grout joints.
