Darren James Interiors was tasked with refreshing this aging but spacious Mirvac-built home in the Riverside suburb of Bulimba. With the last of their children leaving the nest, this Brisbane couple desired a simple, understated and natural look to their new kitchen, which reflected their new life stage. A bespoke and timeless design was achieved through the use of beautiful materials and clever functionality. The space is a union of nature and technology with solid American Walnut and marble-look Soft touch Laminam alongside servo drive lift-up cupboards as well as German lift technology which was used to conceal a pop-up bar facing the entertaining space.
