There is so much more storage when the soffits are removed! This is a new kitchen in a 1960 split level home in Schaumburg, IL. We removed two walls to open up the kitchen to the living room and dining room. The granite is Suede Brown and works well with the lighter hardwood flooring and tile back splash.
