Obelisk Home’s direction from the client was don’t move any walls, doors, windows or plumbing, but make our master suite look new modern yet consistent with our love of antiques and collections. This was the task given to the Obelisk Home team. We designed a new bathroom layout reusing their drop-in tub, classic fixtures and cabinetry and still changed the overall feel and function of the space. We added new tile, new shower shape, with a closed function, yet open feel, repositioned the tub and made it an under-mount, new cabinet hardware, re-built the tower in the center, added lighting, mirrors, wallpaper, granite and most important a heated floor.
