At Home Interior Designers created a new airy living - dining space with adjacent landscaping from a previously dark interior, by removing walls and creating hidden utility storage. A Japanese pocket door can be used to separate the walnut kitchen cabinets and coffee coloured splashbacks from the lime lacquer units which sit with the clients’ antique Dutch cabinets in the living area. The limestone floor throughout reaches seamlessly through the extensive glazing to the rill filled with constantly moving water at the base of the new white rendered wall. Night lighting adds to the soothing ambience of the outside room.
