Simple Office Addition

Traditional Home Office, Austin

This north Austin family needed a home office more than they needed their covered back porch. With the roof already in place and some basic modifications to the existing concrete foundation we were ready to go. The trey ceiling was designed to work around structural constraints, while wood panel detail adds a warm modern touch. The large travertine tile was laid with 1/3rd offset. To keep costs down, a window unit heater/AC handles the comfort control very well. This project cost less then 15k.
