Stunning handmade bespoke kitchen by Luxmoore & Co., recently installed in a classic Edwardian property in North London. We designed, handmade and fitted this beautiful bespoke shaker style kitchen, incorporating space for our client's three dogs with a large built-in dog bed and feeding station into their newly built extension. As a busy professional couple, our clients wanted a practical kitchen that would be easy to maintain, but also to create a beautiful stylish space where they could come together to enjoy cooking and entertaining. The natural timber island is made from character English oak, handpicked from our own stock that has been milled, kilned and seasoned by us.

We brushed a lovely off-white heritage paint onto the grainy wood of this hand-carved bed. And it turned out all white… Geddit?

After a long, busy day, we all need somewhere to unwind. With styles for all the family, from toddlers to teens to grown ups, our bedroom collection extends from bedside chests to fitted wardrobes, all available in a choice of finishes. Our designs are stylish, versatile and practical, allowing you to piece together your perfect bedroom. Plus you can be creative by combining décor doors, mirrored doors, shelves and drawers to create your own design.

The client wanted a piece of furniture to house their dog's bed and all of his food and treats! The dog bed is unattached from the furniture, meaning it can be moved into different rooms should you wish. The result: one beautiful piece of furniture, and one content little dog!

We kept things consistent and stylish in the utility room, ensuring all those not-so-fun chores have a dedicated, practical space. The same Armac Martin Withenshaw handles in polished brass, and the traditional moulded-in-frame beaded cabinetry was carried through from the kitchen, creating a seamless connection between the two spaces. A washing machine and dryer are stacked neatly above one another next to a Shaws of Darwen butler sink, paired with a stunning Perrin and Rowe mixer tap in satin brass. Behind the sink, the Viola quartz makes a reappearance as a splashback, tying the room back to the heart of the home. Full-height storage cupboards keep everything organised and out of sight, while a lovely touch comes in the form of decorative grilles that conceal a hidden dog bed, proving that even the family pet has been designed for. The boot room then flows gracefully from the utility room through the original doorframes, and the consistent colour scheme and style follow right through with it. Bench storage seating, coat hooks and dedicated space for hats and outerwear mean that when you come in from a dog walk, everything has its place before you step into a muddy booth further into the house. This practical and welcoming space works exactly how a boot room should.

Once working drawings were finalised we collaborated with our carpenter to ensure that our client's brief was met. She has two small dogs and needed an enclosed space that would not make her dogs feel claustrophobic. In line with this, a selection of designs were suggested, factoring in the rigidity and flexibility of the materials being used and the space available.

The kingsize bed is by De La Espada. The bedside cabinets are vintage. Soft bed linen and throws make for a stylish sanctuary.
