Photo by Spiering & Co This client lives in a beautiful Georgian mansion with a contemporary glass kitchen extension, so the garden design is both classic and contemporary. There are two wide borders flanking each side of the central lawn, and we designed a keystone path through the borders so people could walk through them and enjoy the flowers close up. As the seasons change, different plants come into flower, creating an ever changing picture for the client to enjoy. There is a large Italian limestone terrace for outdoor entertaining, with a contemporary water feature placed just outside the kitchen, so as you sit in the kitchen dining area, you feel as though the water feature is inside too.
