Location: Farnham, Surrey Overview: This elegant Surrey home benefits from not one, but two distinctive staircase refurbishments: a grand, classically styled central staircase that welcomes guests in style, and a secondary staircase reimagined with glass to brighten a once-dark corner of the home. Category: Abbott-Wade transformed both staircases by expertly cladding over existing structural elements and replacing key components such as newel posts, balustrades, and handrails. The result is the impression of two brand-new staircases, each tailored to its own unique role within the home. Style: The central staircase retains a traditional charm, seamlessly complementing the property's refined interiors. Decorative oak and forged steel spindles add character and timeless elegance. In contrast, the secondary staircase adopts a more modern aesthetic. Clear glass balustrades brighten the formerly dim stairwell, allowing light to flow freely and creating a spacious, airy feel.
