Sussex Open Concept Kitchen

Transitional Kitchen, Milwaukee

As we tell all our clients...the design is a work in progress until the customer is happy. We originally started with this homeowner on just a refresh of the current space with cabinets that went to the ceiling and a stationary island that provided more functionality. As we were tweeking the layout we said "what if" we knocked down the wall between the kitchen and dining room to provide a snack bar. This gave the homeowner full site from one side of the house to the other. It also allowed for more natural sunlight to enter the kitchen. With opening this up to both rooms we had to make sure the kitchen complemented the current color scheme throughout the rest of the house. This beautiful tranisitonal updated kitchen provided the homeowners with a kitchen that is functional and something they can be proud of.
