The owners of this bustling family home in Toronto wanted a space that was functional for the children and adults alike. We incorporated a eat-in area on the peninsula, a separate desk area for children to do their homework, as well as a custom coat cabinet and window seat by the entryway door. The window was covered in glass block and range hood installed forward of the window.
