Transitional Kitchen Update Done in a White Painted Shaker Door

Transitional Kitchen, Columbus

Kitchen remodeling project where the homeowners elected to upgrade their kitchen to a more transitional look by installing new cabinets. We added a pantry and base cabinets along one wall while opening up the doorway into the dining room to give it a little more openness. We also removed the soffits and then extended the cabinets to the ceiling along with large shaker style crown molding. The homeowners went with a white painted shaker door by Bridgewood done in maple. To complete the new look we installed a granite countertop done in River White, a white subway tile backsplash and a new floor done in engineered distressed wood.
