We are building a Hamptons inspired coastal home in Victoria. Our ceiling height over the kitchen island bench is 2700 and the bench is 2.45 metres. The adjoining living room is very large and has a higher coffered ceiling. I want the island bench lights to help delineate the kitchen area and offer a good deal of light without breaking the bank! I have seen some American lights I like (Feiss Harrow with 3 globes and seed glass) but to buy them in Australia they would cost over $1000 each, and I'd prefer not to spend that much on this one item! Any advice or suggestions would be most welcome.
