Alison Naden is an outstanding space designer and principal of Loudoun Modern. She worked for me on several major projects for the relocation and design of space to house thousands of employees. She oversaw and provided direction to tradespeople responsible for lighting, HVAC, furniture, wall finishes, electrical and plumbing. On a separate project, she worked with architects and contractors to design and build out a new 14-story professional building after first developing space needs with the occupants. She is innovative in presenting space plans and design options. Alison makes a personal connection with her clients and meets their needs while working within budget and space constraints. Our managers would sometimes be uncertain what they wanted or ask for unworkable solutions. Using the requirements shared with her, Alison would present plans and options and work to satisfy even our most “challenging” personalities. I also worked with Alison as she modified the design for the new Loudoun Free Clinic space. By spending time learning the clinic’s work flow and proximity of staff, Allison made many approved changes to make the clinic operation more functional and speed patient care. She also identified donors and led negotiations that resulted in the donation of hundreds of thousands of dollars in furnishings. Her efforts made the opening of the new clinic truly “grand” and the employees, volunteers, and patients were in a truly professional space consistent with the high-level medical care they receive. Whether large or small, Allison will painstakingly take the time to understand your needs, take ownership of the project, and keep you updated on the status. She is professional in every sense of the word and you will find working with her a joy.

Hired to redecorate entire main floor. Rooms included were kitchen, sunroom, living and family rooms as well as half bath. Alison listened to everything we said and the results were beautiful. She did a great job in combining our taste in decor. I couldn’t be happier with the results and will hire her again when needed.

Alison is a real gem. She is knowledgeable, flexible, friendly, and easy to work with. She really listens to get the look we wanted. We used her for our big kitchen renovation, four bathrooms, basement and living room updates. I always get great comments from people visiting about how great it looks and the special touches Alison gave it. I recommend her to my friends and would definitely use her again.
