STUDIOFANG is an emergent PassiveHouse-certified architectural practice based in Eltham, Victoria that explores architectural solutions from concept creation to occupation, seeking symbioses between the artistic realm and scientific parameters in architecture. STUDIOFANG believes architecture as art can unlock a sense or sensation about a site or space that was previously intangible, and enhance its cultural and phenomenological value. STUDIOFANG adopts PassiveHouse principles as part of our scientific approach to quantifying achieve optimal levels of occupant comfort, and achieve building energy-efficiencies. In an iterative symbiosis between art and science, we produce architectural forms and solutions as 'trim tabs' that steer perceptions of human spirit and building energy usage in our climate-changing zeitgeist.
