Well Grounded Landscaping

Sam and Mick landscaped our backyard while we were also building a pool and we highly recommend their services. The work included levelling the yard, laying turf and building a retaining wall and stairs. We are very pleased with the result and will be using them again on our balcony. They were professional, innovative and knowledgeable with their advice and worked seamlessly with our pool company.

Firstly, I’d just like to thank Mick and Sam for the amazing deck they designed and built at our home. We had a number of tradesmen quote the job and Well Grounded Landscaping were highly competitive and explained the finer details in our language. This put us at ease when spending a very large sum of money. The team were respectful with start/ finish times and kept the area tidy which was a nice surprise. Overall we are extremely happy with the work they did and have recommended them too many of our friends. Keep up the good work guys!!!

We have been extremely disappointed with the poor service and lack of professionalism that we have experienced from Well Grounded Landscaping. Well Grounded came to install a fence between our property and our neighbour's property, and immediately had to be called back by our neighbours (who were kindly co-ordinating the fence installation) due to the poor quality of the fence (Well Grounded did not follow our neighbour's instruction regarding where the fenceline should be, there were large cracks in both the fence and the concrete, and they were supposed to clear the old fence properly and failed to do so). A few months later, on our property, we started experiencing our sewage and other bathroom drains backing up, and were unable to utilise our bathroom. When we called a plumber in to investigate and fix the issue, the plumber discovered that Well Grounded had in fact drilled into our drainage pipes when they were digging holes for the fence, and had managed to fill the hole up with concrete (and consequently severely blocking up our drain). As a further consequence of this, sewage seeped into the ground attracting tree roots from the neighbouring property entered the pipe, resulting in further blockage. Our plumber took photos as evidence of the concrete blockage and cracked piping caused by Well Grounded, and when we approached Well Grounded to request compensation for their error, they refused to pay us. Worse, although we had granted Well Grounded access to our property while we were away to view the portion of cracked pipe that our plumber had removed, they proceeded to dig down themselves to the (now fixed) pipe without our permission.

These guys are great, fast communication/response time, easy to get a long with. The tell you their honest opinion on products and not what is a higher price or what you want to hear. The work we have had done, although small is fantastic! I would definitely recommend Sam & Mick to everyone.

From point of engagement through until point of Project Handover, Well Grounded Landscaping employees displayed a high level of professionalism, experience, dedication and commitment to quality. The team also had a thorough understanding of the regulations, procedures, program and methodology associated with the project and did a exceptional job in providing all necessary paperwork. In short, it was an absolute pleasure working with Well Grounded Landscaping and I would highly recommend them as a General Contractor.

I have used Well Grounded Landscaping both professionally and personally and truly cannot speak highly enough of them. They were recommended to me by a work colleague and we had them come out and complete our front garden, the end product was amazing and exactly what we wanted.
