Wolff Contracting & Development

I cannot recommend Wolff Contracting and Development highly enough. We were immediately impressed by their professional website and portfolio and ended up hiring Jeff and his team to do a full kitchen remodel. We expanded the footprint of the kitchen, moved the location of most of the appliances, replaced an old window with a smaller one, added an island, and re-finished the floors. All in the project took ~6 week (as planned). The team was even there on Saturdays and the day after Thanksgiving to make sure we stayed on schedule. Throughout the entire project Jeff and Martin were extremely communicative and easily accessible. They were also extremely accommodating when we wanted to make some minor last-minute changes, like adding a wine fridge and expanding the size of the island. We also commissioned Wolff Contracting to add a built-in cabinet in our master bedroom, which we love. We will definitely use them again for our next home renovation!

Had Jeff and his crew remodel a lot of our home. A powder room, floors polished/ white washed, painting of all rooms, trims, blew master ceiling up, took out attic space, kitchen 100% redone & bathrooms also. They did wallpaper to our powder room, switched a toilet and sink spot. And did the master bath also pulled a sauna out and did a steam shower with a soaking tub and 2 master sinks. They whole house looks amazing. People say we should be featured in a catalogue and I agree ;) Jeff from start to finish is transparent on his costs and follows up a lot on things that happen along the way of Renovations. He even came back a few times to fix odds and ends. He’s a wonderful dude & company is awesome. Have spread the referral to a lot of friends.

As a designer who has been in the industry for 20+ years I am not an easy client as I’m more critical and detailed than most. Jeff and his team were always professional, conscientious and available. The very large project came in on time and on budget with beautiful results!

Excellent professionals. They are reasonably priced, pay attention to details and work on things until you're fully satisfied. Construction is always unpredictable and often stressful. Jeff and Martin made it fun. I am so happy I found them for my project: combining 2 apartments to make a large one in a high rise. The result is beautiful and I am very grateful.

We made relatively late decision to heavily renovate our first floor this past summer. Jeff & Jen very quickly brought everything together to get the renovation plans in place and we left on vacation. When we returned essentially everything was done and even better than we hoped. Everyone at WolffHager- including our fantastic project manager Martin- was extremely responsive and good to their word. What they accomplished in a very tight time frame crushed our concerns of an extended and messy project. We highly recommend their work and plan to use them again.

Two words: hire Wolffhager. Our home is situated on the Chicago river, it's completely custom, with high-end finishes that we tailored to suit our family, and includes nearly 800 square feet of covered patio, with a pool and pretty soon- a fully equipped outdoor kitchen. It was not easy to get this place built. Just when we started to worry that nobody could meet the time commitment, fulfill our design wishes, and offer the quality craftsmanship we had imagined for our dream home, we found Wolffhager. When we met Jeff Wolff, we knew pretty quickly that we had the right partner in a builder. He dug in with us from day one and has never looked back. He is super easy to work with, and he was able to manage our budget needs, and stick to a timeline that worked for our family. Jeff also has an eye for detail, he's exceptionally creative, and most importantly, he sticks to his word. We trust him, we value his judgement and work ethic, his employees are wonderful to work with and the end result is literally a dream come true for our family. I will recommend Wolffhager to everyone who ever asks me how I liked my builder because they are absolutely terrific.
