Aroona Pools and Spas

We are so happy with our new pool and spa. We were very impressed at how professional and responsive the staff at Aroona Pools & Spas was in all the planning stages of the project. The design ideas they came up with were unique, beyond our expectations. They are definitely an expert in pool construction and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a pool construction company.

Such a disappointing experience. Please be careful using this company. Mistake after mistake, the biggest being they built the pool 300mm too high out of the ground, despite my pointing this out. it only became an issue to them when the pool could not be certified. We did everything to get them to do the right thing and submit new plans in hopes if they did this we would still have our pool in time for Christmas, but no, that was too much to ask instead they stuffed that up and then shut up shop over Christmas leaving us with a mud pit in the back yard and no one to help us. The project manager changed but this did not change the fact that the management was still the same.. 18mths later we have finally got an occupation certificate, this has only happened because we took them to NCAT as we weren't getting any where speaking to them civilly. I'm sure they will have every excuse under the sun but we are not alone, there are many out there who have had the same awful experience we did. Yes they did "compensate" us by building a retaining wall and concreting around the pool, all of which was done wrong and caused more stress, concrete in spa pipes, pipes not connected and concreted over. I look out there every day and hate the huge retaining wall we are left with. First world problems I know, but when you save for 15yrs to give your family something we can enjoy together and it goes so terribly wrong. We can't help but feel let down and awfully disappointed.
