Home Improvement Store is the brainchild of Max Klasse – builder, carpenter, project manager and most recently, Certified Passive House tradesperson. Throughout his 20+ years experience, Max saw the need for an all-inclusive, simplified approach to home renovation building projects, where every step of the process (including cabinetry manufacturing) could be handled by one company. And so, Home Improvement Store was born. Unlike other Sydney builders, Home Improvement Store takes a holistic approach to home improvement – be it a kitchen or bathroom renovation, a home extension or addition or an entire home, built from the ground up. As well as managing your building project, we have a “See & Select” Retail Shop where you can select and order your taps, tiles, vanities and more, seeing exactly what you’re getting, before you get it. We also manufacture made-to-measure cabinets in our very own workshop (right here in Hornsby, Sydney). This “one stop” approach means your home renovation project can be as quick, accurate and easy from design to development, as possible. Our dedicated team of trade professionals is fully licensed and qualified, and all workmanship is covered by extensive warranties and guarantees, plus we provide a complimentary 3-month maintenance period.
