Rhombus Design offers those who would normally engage a lesser qualified Building Designer or Drafting Service a complete and professional architectural service for a similar fee. Rhombus Design as an A+ Practice member of the Australian Institute of Architects and was founded and is operated by a fully qualified and registered architect, Paul Stephenson in partnership with John Bakker. John and Paul were senior, award winning, employees and Paul a shareholder, of one of the worlds top 100 architecture firms for more than 19 and 13 years respectively. By providing a more complete documentation set including fully detailed specifications, Rhombus Design eliminates the gaps that often are left in a lesser service’s documents that inevitably lead to cost over runs and client dissatisfaction. Paul has a background also in Civil and Structural Engineering, Project Management and Construction Management. John has extensive experience in all facets of the architectural process with inimitable expertise in residential design, documentation and construction. All Rhombus Design professional staff have extensive experience and knowledge in the design, documentation and construction of all building types, spending much of their time on the construction site fostering a belief in pragmatic, realistic, economic and buildable solutions to suit the clients needs and budget. Rhombus Design will work with the builder and the client to ensure both the clients needs are met and the most economic and buildable approach documented whilst maintaining design excellence and innovation. At Rhombus Design we can provide the full range of design services including Concept Design, Developed Design, DA Documentation, CC Documentation, Authority Approvals, Tender Documentation, Full Tender Service and Procurement, Contract Services, Contract Administration and 3D Imaging and Artistic Impression.
