We had a consultation with Suzie as my elderly parents are considering renovating their original federation home in Cottesloe. Suzie was so warm and engaging and really understood my parents needs for ageing in place. Her invaluable advice was also sensible and practical. My parents feel very confident with Suzie's recommendations for their best options going forward. It was so refreshing to deal with someone who had my parents best interest at heart. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Suzie and really hope to use her myself in the future.

A good architect designs beautiful houses, a great architect takes the time to truly understand what their client wants, what their lifestyle is and how they want to feel as they inhabit the next space they will call ‘home’. Suzi is a great architect. We were fortunate to come across Suzi in a magazine which featured some of her earlier work. Right from the start, when she traveled an hour from her office to meet with us in our home of the time, Suzi took care to build a solid relationship with us, and she really listened. That relationship is the foundation upon which our home was built. We trusted Suzi every step of the way through the design and build process and, having lived in our home for three years now we know that we were right to do so. Suzi met with the builder and us fortnightly during the build. It was clear that she had solid professional relationships with the builder, as well as the other suppliers, and those meetings were positive and enjoyable. Because of the type of project it was we did not have a set time schedule or price that Suzi was working to. Again, this meant that trust was paramount. Our home was finished in a timely manner and at substantially less than the quantity surveyor had estimated. We would recommend Suzi without hesitation to anyone wanting to build their next home. If you look through the images of our Bedfordale house you will see why. Our experience living here in recent years is exactly what we envisaged when we first spoke to Suzi.

While the owner and general manager at Gransden Construction we had the experience of working with many top flight architects based in both WA and interstate. In my view Suzie and her team are right up there with the best of them. Suzie has the good sense to understand that a project works beat when everyone works collaboratively to achieve the best results. She loves to use high quality products and produces a design that endures, one that cannot be pigeonholed into a particular era or category. We worked on two large projects over these last few years one in Bedfordale and one in Dalkeith. Both homes are stunners but not in a conventional way. It was obvious to me as a builder that our trades and suppliers "lifted their game" when working on these houses, we all enjoyed and relished using the materials and of course the design. We all realized very quickly that we were working on something special. The result? I was asked to find an Architect by my employer with some experience in heritage regulations and residential renovations sympathetic to the Subiaco architecture.
