Teo Perperis Architects

Teo Perperis have been our architects and project managers for three projects over the last 10-12 years, and we have found them to be creative, thorough and professional in each of these projects. The projects were to design and manage the build of a weekend retreat on a quite steep and challenging block in country Victoria and two sets of major renovations on our suburban Californian bungalow in Melbourne. On all three projects, we have been able to work with the principals and staff of the firm to take our input and resolve great designs that have looked and felt great on completion, and have all performed and aged well over time. They have also worked with builders, suppliers, councils and regulatory bodies on each of our projects to ensure any issues are dealt with and all required inspections and regulatory requirements are dealt with appropriately. Cheng and his team were an an absolute pleasure to collaborate and work with, on our Arts & Crafts attic conversion. As a heritage interior designer, I wanted to work in various ideas to respect the integrity of the context of the 1914 build, and Cheng completely and instinctively understood that from the outset. From there, some imaginative and innovative solutions, as well as a professional, prompt and always friendly service from his team (thank you Liang and Xiaoxin), resulted in an attic conversion which looks as if it was always meant to be part of the house.
