“Chris turned up when he said he was going to, did a great job, cleared up after himself and the starry ceilings (we started with one, and had him come back and do a second one) were fab. We then asked him to create a custom mural for us, which he did (different to his usual stuff). It's a stunning mural, which I admire every day, and had many friends remark on it. It's not cheap, but I wouldn't expect it to be when the work is such a skilled craft.”

“I have commissioned Christine for a family portrait and am extremely happy with the results. It hangs pride of place in our sitting room! She captured all of us beautifully and was very accommodating about minor changes (removing my daughter's braces) and very helpful in presenting different styles. She was very easy to communicate with and worked hard to determine exactly what I wanted. This was a gift for my husband's 40th birthday and it moved him to tears it was so lovely. I chose Christine because I had asked her to paint some art for my bedroom and she did this quickly and beautifully capturing exactly what I wanted. Although this triptych wasn't as demanding as the portrait I am extremely happy with the work. I have two other of Christine's paintings in my home as well. All of her own work is evocative and she is gifted in using may different mediums and styles. She even gave me advice in when hanging them.”

I found that Rise have a huge range of incredible artwork for sale and you can even rent if you are not sure that a particular piece is for you (great for someone fussy and clueless about art like me!). Rise helped to make the art world accessible to someone for whom this was all a complete mystery! The service is slick and delivery is hassle free and I found that the team there are really knowledgeable and helpful. “Bought a custom made stainless steel window from Macmade. The window is better than I expected. I’m really pleased with it. Macmade did a great job. It took slightly longer to get than I expected but if I had ordered a standard Crittal window the lead time was 16 weeks and Macmade was able to get it to me within 12 weeks. All in all really pleased with the job.”

“I asked Conscious Forms to make a freestanding island from concrete together with a kitchen top and I'm thrilled with the results. From start to finish the communication with Junior at Conscious Forms was fantastic, giving advice and keeping me informed about the process. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them, what you will get is something that feels bespoke and special and not a manufactured piece. It really was like watching a work of art come together and Junior's passion for his craft was a joy to work with. As a result the piece feels even more special and one I hope I'll enjoy for years to come.”

“We commissioned Flora to make a series of large coastal artworks for our father's beach house, and they are absolutely perfect! We chose the paper prints, they are very high quality and the colours were as beautiful as we'd hoped. The seascapes really set the tone for the house, and now we've got our eye on some botanical prints for a future decor project in Portugal! Flora was very efficient and always quick to respond, and we wouldn't hesitate to commission her again.”

“Having spent sometime looking for mouldings that were a good match for the damaged ones we were removing I discovered Fine Art Mouldings. I decided to visit the workshop as buying I felt seeing the real thing was necessary. From my first call the customer service was fantastic, my visit to the workshop was great, seeing the guys making the moulds and casting the plasterwork was fascinating and it was obvious how professional the company was and that everyone involved was taking care over the work - unlike some other companies I visited! We had a tight schedule as we hadn’t originally planned to replace the plSterwork, however Fine Art Mouldings came back with a quote in a few hours (still waiting for quotes from one of the other companies!) and they were able to manufacture and fit my order 2 weeks later. The resulting work is stunning very carefully fitted and the design matches around an awkward 5 sided bay window. We couldn’t be happier with the results”
