Jordan in the Studio

I had the pleasure of purchasing the delightful ‘Blossom’ print from the talented artist Jordan Harcourt-Hughes. The vibrant colours are bright, full of personality and mesmerising. Jordan’s lyrical approach to style and colour has created a floral depiction that is much more than a blossom. In this particular painting, Jordan has added layer upon layer of vibrant colours pulsating with vigour and energy. Subtle suggestions of texture add tenderness and draw the viewer into a multi-layered floral landscape. The print is mesmerising and it has brought pleasure and enjoyment to my family. I have a beautiful piece of Jordan's work in my daughters room. The colors are beautiful and feminine without being to girly. It's a piece that will age gracefully as she does.

In 2017 I completed considerable refurbishments on my house and was delighted with the finished result. I commissioned Jordan to create two bespoke artworks for my living room walls, in order to complete my new interior look and feel. Jordan did a wonderful job – she took my ideas and colour palette and created a pair of paintings that complimented my new spaces beautifully. She listened carefully to what I wanted, gave me the opportunity to see the works as they were developing and to provide feedback on their final presentation.
