Jodie Lyle began her exploration of resin as an artistic medium in 2010 after graduating from a degree in Accounting. After spending 3 years studying statistics, laws, rules and regulations Jodie began to feel a strong desire to break free from all the logic…and just CREATE! Jodie fell in love with the smooth, high gloss, glass-like finish of resin. She experimented with adding colourants to her resin to create vibrant abstract pieces and was amazed by the results. The fluidity of the resin allows Jodie to manipulate it in a way that produces an exceptionally interesting blending, mixing and marbling of colours. By producing various chemical reactions, Jodie is able to add unique and extraordinary anomalies to her artworks. Jodie welcomes requests for commissioned artworks.
