JG Bathroom Renovations

I would highly recommend JG Bathrooms. Jan and the team have just completed a complete gut and renovation (back to bearers & joists - start again basically) of an ageing bathroom for my 91-year-old mother in Mona Vale. It is now modern, safe and completely fit for purpose for her needs as she ages. This included approved grab rails, special shower seating and customised heights for shower mixers etc. From the very first online enquiry which was promptly responded to, and then the initial site visit and sit down to discuss mum's needs with Michelle, and then the actual job itself - brilliant! Kudos to Michelle for 'sticking with me' as we went thru several design changes prior to the start of the job itself. Once the job itself started - the team were faultless - arrived as promised, the communication from Jan was great, which made life so much easier for both myself & mum as the job progressed. The end result far exceeded my initial expectations! I would like to thank Michelle, Jan, Sara, Pedro, Tobias, Gussy (a dead-set machine), Paul, Lee, Jack, Mike, Ben and Kai - special mention for Jasper & Craig! These guys in my opinion went above and beyond to the scope to understand mum's needs - they thought of things that I & the occupational therapist had overlooked. I would also like to thank Sue @ Reece Mona Vale (legend), and Bruce @ Amber Tiles Mona Vale - they both assisted massively! From the beginning I was impressed by the professionalism and responsiveness of Jan and Michelle when they came to do the quote for the renovation of our master bedroom and guest bedroom. The quote wasn't actually the cheapest but I could tell that I would be getting a high quality service. I was right. We could not be more happy with both the end result of both the bedroom and guest bedroom and also with the hassle free experience of dealing with Jan, Pedro and all of the reliable and professional trades people who worked on the project. They even managed to custom build a new mantel piece to match one we have in another room in the house. The whole experience was stress free and the result was the high quality I had hoped for. You pay for what you get and I think JG Bathrooms is actually really good value for money. I would definitely use JG Bathrooms again.

Firstly it is very rare that I write reviews. However I couldn’t be happier with the job that JG Tiling and Building did on my renovation and I have no hesitation in recommending them. Their attention to detail and quality of work is outstanding. My renovation was in an apartment building which comes with many rules and additional requirements. The JG team were highly professional, completed all documentation required and were always polite and courteous along with being very tidy. All very important factors when you live in a building with other residents. The JG team finished my project on time which is highly unusual for renovations. Renovations can be very costly if you don’t have the right people on the job. The JG team are outstanding and their expertise is worth every dollar.

Jan Gade and his team at JG Bathroom Renovations were an absolute pleasure to work with in helping us achieve a fantastic result for our en-suite bathroom. From the design and planning of the project through to the demolition, clean-up and finally the build and completion of the job, Jan and his team of tradesmen were nothing but professional and extremely considerate throughout the whole process. The workmanship is excellent quality and articulate where attention to detail is paramount. My wife and I could not be happier, so much so that we will be engaging JG Bathrooms in the near future to renovate the main bathroom which we know will be a quality product again!
