My major villa renovation included floors, kitchen, three bathrooms, electrical and plumbing. I was looking for a project manager who could ensure the job was completed with quality, on time and on budget. Martin and his team provided excellent service and I am thrilled with the final results. The process from initial consultation, to design, costing and completion was smooth and reassuring. Martin was unbelievably helpful and patient with my plans for my renovation. I had significant work to undertake and required detailed design and engineering, which Martin helped through each phase with excellent communication. The team at Refresh Renovations were very professional throughout the whole process. They tried to accomodate any changes (there was many as the process went on) and offered suggestions and ideas at every step. Martin was constantly in touch with information and guidence keeping me updated with the process so I knew where we were up to all the time. The whole process of renovating the outdoor space of our home was easy. From the initial meeting with Martin outlining the process, to meetings with Paul to make sure those ideas were possible and sensible the communication was fuss-free and straightforward. The job was completed to a high standard and almost exactly on time (still cannot control the weather!). Highly recommended, and I will use them again.

We wanted to modernise our thirty year old home and still retain the country charm. Where could we even begin? Thankfully we began with Refresh Renovations. They organised, managed and coordinated ( thanks Martin ) They turned the nearly impossible into the very possible ( a big thanks to builder Paul ). They brought thoughts into reality ( thanks to all those expert tradesmen ). Refresh Renovations bring good old fashioned know-how to the table coupled with the integrity, patience and understanding that paves the way for an excellent outcome. They stand one hundred percent behind their promises ( even for up to seven years after the build ). Now that is refreshing! This is a team that deserves to be, not only commended, but also, highly recommended.

I was delighted, after having had what I felt were a few quick quotes from others, when Martin came and spent about an hour with me at the first visit – so important to me as someone with no other way of judging the likely quality of end results from different builders. I felt Rick, our builder, and Martin, made an excellent team, with Martin providing excellent communication, and calling on Rick’s extensive knowledge of the construction side, whenever I asked a question Martin was not sure about. The process of negotiating with council to maximise the size of the deck I was allowed was also invaluable. The uncertainties of timelines for completion were I feel well explained, and set out in the contract, and although exceeded to some extent, I was comfortable with this having to some extent been forewarned about delays with council approvals. Likewise with the budget, it was higher than I had anticipated, but seemed reasonable for the attention being paid to the project. I would strongly recommend Refresh Renovations to someone not quite sure of how to go about the whole process of translating their idea into reality, and as I think the photos show, along with favourable comments from neighbours, the excellent end result is witness to the value of the careful, unhurried thought and planning which Martin and Rick put into every step along the way.

I do not usually bother posting reviews (unless I am strongly motivated to complain), but the very positive experience we enjoyed with Refresh Renovations Gold Coast was such that I felt they needed a very big pat on the back for a job well done. We wanted to "refresh" various aspects of our home which was built approximately 13 years ago, but did not know where to start with engagement of contractors and making necessary choices. Martin was able to give valuable guidance on what we needed to do and the contractors he engaged were excellent. The whole job was completed ahead of time, and the quality of the outcome was even better than we had anticipated. I would recommend them to anyone needing a builder for home renovations. You will not be disappointed.
